Angie Taylor Welcoming You to Pedal Pusher's Cafe & Pedaler's Roast Coffee Bar
At Pedal Pushers Cafe in Lanesboro, Minnesota, fair-trade organic coffee seems to be an ideal complement to the flavorful meals made from locally grown foods.
Owners Scott and Angie Taylor, who have run the Lanesboro restaurant for six years, work with local farmers to get milk and cream from pasture-grazed cows, eggs from cage-free chickens and meat from grass-fed beef.
About a year and a half ago, they added a coffee bar menu to offer espressos, cappuccinos and other specialty drinks to their customers. Organic and fair-trade organic coffee beans grown in countries such Guatemala and Ethiopia and the island of Sumatra are fresh roasted at the restaurant. The Taylors also supply their “Pedaler’s Roast” coffee beans to bed-and-breakfast establishments in the area.
