Autumn in Lanesboro is a magical time—crisp nights, colorful bluffs, and endless opportunities to get outside. This season, Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center is offering a lineup of unique fall events designed for families, friends, and adventure-seekers alike. From stargazing to high ropes thrills, there’s something for everyone!
🌌 Guided Astronomy Hike
Saturday, September 20 · 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM · $10 per person
Kick off your evening with a journey through the stars! Begin inside Eagle Bluff’s immersive StarLab planetarium, an inflatable dome that projects the night sky around you. Then step outside for a guided hike under the real stars, where you’ll hear fascinating stories of the constellations.

🌿 Wild Edibles Foraging Class
September 20 & 21 · 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM · $45 per person
Ever wondered about nature’s free grocery store? Join Eagle Bluff’s naturalists for a hands-on foraging adventure. You’ll learn how to identify wild edible plants and mushrooms, explore scenic off-trail areas, and even sample seasonal treats made from your discoveries.

🌲 High Ropes Adventure – MEA Weekend

Saturday, October 18 · 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
$40 per person
Looking for adventure over MEA weekend? Test your balance, courage, and teamwork on Eagle Bluff’s Treetops High Ropes Course. Thirty feet above the ground, you’ll climb, balance, and zip through platforms, cables, and logs—all in a safe, supportive environment led by trained instructors. Cap it off with a thrilling zip line ride through the trees!

This isn’t your average trick-or-treat! Join Eagle Bluff for a Halloween-themed ropes course where you’ll collect candy along the way, tackle fun obstacles, and zipline to the finish. Costumes encouraged for extra fun!
