This challenging yet welcoming ride takes cyclists through 50 miles of scenic bluff country backroads, weaving between golden valleys, rolling farmland, and colorful wooded ridges. Founded in 2013, the Filthy 50 has become a fall classic for Midwest gravel riders. The race kicks off on Saturday, October 11th, when hundreds of riders take off from downtown Lanesboro at 10:00 a.m. sharp.
The route winds through Fillmore County’s signature gravel roads — with climbs, coasting descents, and plenty of friendly competition along the way. Riders return to Lanesboro throughout the afternoon, greeted by cheering crowds and the lively buzz of Main Street.
