Cross-Country Ski on the Root River State Trail (When there’s sufficient snow). Portions of the Root River and Harmony–Preston Valley State Trails are DNR-groomed for classic skiing when conditions allow. If you’re 16+, you’ll need a Minnesota Ski Pass (sold locally at the Lanesboro BP).
