Brewery Book Club

Our novel for October is...MAGIC LESSONS by Alice Hoffman! This is the prequel to the very popular 90s movie (based on Hoffman's first novel in the series) Practical Magic. "Lessons" was published in 2020 and follows Maria Owens in the mid to late 1600s and explores the origins of the Owens family curse. She journeys through England, Curaçao, Salem, and New York City.Join us to discuss this drama-filled witchy novel for the spooky season and enjoy one of two beverages chosen: our delightful new brown ale "System of a Brown" OR our featured guest tap, Minneapolis Cider's Orchard Blend cider! Two delicious choices for fall.DEPENDING on weather, this may or may not be our LAST patio book club. Sad face. All ages welcome! We will lead a lively discussion about the book while enjoying a thoughtfully paired beer. Not a fan of beer but still want to join? Come on down! We have lots of drink options (and we'll be serving our regular Thursday menu which includes burgers, wings, and wood-fired pizza).Cheers!
