What a perfect getaway. This beautiful hotel was squeaky clean, lovingly cared for, and totally comfortable. The easy-to-use keyless entries, the super-soft face cloths, the modern decor, coffee machine & mini-fridge, high quality portable fan, the parts of the original interior still intact that pay homage to this historical landmark---all coalesce to make an unforgettable stay. Being in the heart of Lanesboro was also a delight, especially at this time of year when the leaves are changing and the town is decorated for fall. We recently stayed in the Four Seasons Minneapolis, and this was truly on par with the experience we had there. The owners clearly care about their guests and it shows!

Response from Hotel Lanesboro Thanks for the detailed review Anna! We have tried our hardest to think of all the little things and continually want to improve as well. Although we don't have a modern luxurious building and corporate staff and funds, we do have lots of pride in our historic building. It was not built to be a hotel, but when it was converted, they sure did a good job to utilize the space and create 9 awesome rooms!
