Lovely hotel in sweet river town beside the root River Bike Trail. Self-service entry and exit worked just fine for us. Dinner at Root River 102 was a surprise and delight! We'll stay here again on next visit to Lanesboro.

Yes, we aren't a high end luxury hotel, in a small town, we are going for quaint with our historic building in a small town. We are going for a more vacation rental vibe where you come and go as you please, you don't have to coordinate with someone to get in and settled. We are not full service, but for the value it works for Hotel Lanesboro! Happy you enjoyed your stay!
