We had a great experience at hotel Lanesboro for the night of 9/8/24. The hotel has a self check-in process but the communication was great and very easy to understand. The rooms were very clean and updated and the bedding was fabulous and also loved the towels in the bathrooms. The accommodations are not large but due to the lovely & simple decor of the room plus the functionality of the set up, it did not feel small. I travel worldwide for my job and stay at very nice properties so am a bit picky but this one passed the test! Also, the bike storage shed was very convenient. No power in the shed but it was very easy to remove our batteries for our e-bikes and charge in the room.

Yes, with our old 1872 building, we are a bit smaller in scale and the rooms are a good size with one king bed, just not huge like a suite with lots of furniture may bring. Thanks for pointing out the little things you liked about your stay too like the bedding and towels as well.
