Wow! This Inn is breathtaking. There are so many spots on the property to enjoy, whether on a patio for muffins and coffee (complimentary each morning) or by the gorgeous river for evening drinks. We loved how easy our room was to access. We arrived late after our wedding and were given a code to get into our room days before, allowing us the freedom to arrive whenever we wished. There was a sweet welcome note on the desk inside of our room congratulating us on our wedding along with a historical book of Lanesboro, mints on the side table and plush towels alongside the whirlpool and the shower. The sheets were soft and the blanket and comforter perfect for a cool fall night with the windows open. Before checking out, the sweet and welcoming owners came out and chatted with us, clearly proud of their town and the sweet people in it. We will definitely be back when we can truly enjoy the grounds and take advantage of the trout fishing right on the property. If you’re traveling anywhere near here, this is a must stay!
