We stumbled onto this place by accident and were pleasantly surprised by this charming little museum. As we entered we were greeted by a knowledgeable and friendly curator who pointed out some of the museums most interesting displays which included a baseball signed by Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, some intricate wood carvings done by a local barber 50 years ago, and a collection of wedding dresses dating back well over 100 years. The baseball was cool but the wedding dresses were particularly unique as they were in excellent condition and were displayed with the picture of the bride in her dress from the actual wedding day. It really helped tell the story of the dress. We also enjoyed the 100 year old X-ray machine and military uniforms from all the major wars. Overall, this little museum is charming and a must see if you're in the area. Set aside two - four hours to fully appreciate the museum, or you can get a good gist of the place in about 45 minutes.
