Description

Join Terry Butler and Sheila Frost for a beginner friendly Quilling Class at the Driftless Fiber Arts Collective! On Tuesday, May 19th from 2 - 5 pm, Shiela and Terry will guide folks through the creation of a feather design!

This class is open to folks ages 10 and older. Register using the Google form linked here.

Quilling is an art form that came of age during the Renaissance era. The name is derived from using the quill of a feather from which strips of paper were originally rolled and shaped to create decorative designs.
The paper is glued and placed upright on its edge which gives it a three dimensional look. It is also referred to as paper filigree.

Registration is $25 per person. Paper, scissors and glue will be provided. Participants are recommended to bring a small container to hold water and a small rag. Small sewing scissors are also encouraged.
