Located within Sylvan Park just south of downtown, this campground puts you steps away from Lanesboro’s shops, restaurants, arts venues, and outdoor recreation.
Sylvan Park Campground features approximately 25 RV sites with water and electric hookups and about 23 tent sites, making it a great option for campers traveling by RV, bike, or tent. A nearby bathhouse with restrooms and coin-operated hot showers provides convenient amenities, and a dump station is available for RV campers.
Camping here means easy access to some of Lanesboro’s best outdoor experiences. The Root River State Trail is just minutes away, making the campground especially popular with cyclists exploring the scenic paved trail. Within Sylvan Park itself, campers can enjoy peaceful green space, fishing ponds, picnic areas, and a playground surrounded by the dramatic limestone bluffs that define the Driftless Area.
The campground operates seasonally from approximately April through November. Camping rates are $40 per night for RV sites with water and electric hookups and $25 per night for tent sites, with discounted weekly rates available. Check-in begins at 12:00 PM (noon) and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
