Lanesboro's Stone Dam turns 150 yrs old. Party time!
    Event Description:
History Alive Lanesboro is sponsoring a birthday party and the public is invited. Ted St. Mane will offer his slide show on our Lanesboro dam’s 150 years of history. The dam was built in 1868 by East Coast investors to create a resort lake and power wheat mills. The lake and mills are gone, but our beautiful stone dam still exists and still provides electric power to Lanesboro. It will soon receive physical repairs. Come hear stories about its 150 years and see a model of the dam. A potluck and cake will follow, so bring a dish please.

This event is also a fundraiser for History Alive Lanesboro! 2018 Pop-up Plays as there are funding problems for this year.  No admission fee, but donations much appreciated.  Questions? 507-467-2208
