World War I and Woman Suffrage.
History Alive Pop-up Plays are back for the fourth year! This year the theme is Lanesboro 1918, with a vaudeville show, ragtime music, local soldiers and nurses from World War I, and a woman’s suffrage rally! Also, lots of music and dance and a parade presented by 45 performers! The stories of Lanesboro in the streets of Lanesboro.
Two weekends: Sept. 22 and 23, Sept. 29 and 30, at 1pm and then at 3 pm each day.
Performances begin at Lanesboro American Legion, 103 Elmwood Street East, Lanesboro,MN. Produced in partnership with the Lanesboro American Legion.
Free with suggested donation. This 1 and 1/2 hour walking tour travels 2 blocks with stops. Handicapped can view first and last scenes indoors at Legion, enter through alley upstairs. This activity is made possible by our very generous friends and donors. Thank you.
