World War I and Woman Suffrage. History Alive Pop-up Plays are back for the fourth year! This year the theme is Lanesboro 1918, with a vaudeville show, ragtime music, local soldiers and nurses from World War I, and a woman’s suffrage rally! Also, lots of music and dance and a parade presented by 45 performers! The stories of Lanesboro in the streets of Lanesboro. Two weekends: Sept. 22 and 23, Sept. 29 and 30, at 1pm and then at 3 pm each day. Performances begin at Lanesboro American Legion, 103 Elmwood Street East, Lanesboro,MN. Produced in partnership with the Lanesboro American Legion. Free with suggested donation. This 1 and 1/2 hour walking tour travels 2 blocks with stops.
