    We invite you to The Underground Railroad in S. E. Minnesota lecture and party (Yes, you read that right! Come and see!), part of the History Alive 2019 Lecture and Music Series.

    History researcher Laura Deering of Rushford will provide a slide show and account of her discoveries on the Underground Railroad in Southeast MN. Laura continues to find new supporting information about this pre-Civil War freedom network for slaves. Her talk will be followed by appetizers and music by Sister Luv.
