    About Us

Enjoy a relaxing retreat at the Habberstad House Bed and Breakfast. Built in 1897, this beautiful Queen Anne Victorian home has welcomed overnight guests to Lanesboro since 1997. Luxurious rooms and suites, scrumptious made-from-scratch breakfasts and the finest amenities offer visitors a most relaxing retreat. The open front porch provides seating for guests to enjoy the gardens, reminiscent of a time gone by. The B&B features welcoming parlors, a dining room with a view of the gardens and church hill, and five guest rooms, all with private bathrooms. Or choose our private and spacious Carriage House, with its king bed, fireplace and spa bathroom. The beautiful landscaped yard includes a fountain and pond, flower gardens and numerous seating areas.

We offer complimentary beverage at check-in; secure bike storage, Wi-Fi and central air conditioning. We strive to provide you with a relaxing atmosphere, and offer concierge services to assist you with your stay in Lanesboro.

Innkeepers Mark and Elaine Edwards are celebrating their seventh season as innkeepers in Lanesboro. They are the first B&B in Minnesota to be a Select Registry Property and are members of the Minnesota Bed and Breakfast Association, Inns of Choice and the Association of Lodging Professionals, and are licensed by the State of Minnesota and the City of Lanesboro.
