About Us

Camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis to the outdoor enthusiasts in the City of Lanesboro and surrounding areas along the beautiful Root River and Bike Trail. NO RESERVATIONS ARE ACCEPTED. 27 Camper sites with water & electric. Hot showers. Approximately 35 tent sites.

There is a bathhouse located in Sylvan Park, which is open to all campers and includes coin-operated showers.
There is a dump station located behind the bathhouse.

We do not accept reservations, it is all on a first-come basis. There is also no defined check-in or check-out time required.
Located at the entrance of the campground is a board with instructions and envelopes for payments, or you may stop in the City Office to pay with a credit card during business hours Monday through Friday 8-12 and 12:30-3
